Charismatic Welsh crooner Tom Jones hosted his popular musical variety series This is Tom Jones on ABC, from February 1969 through January 1971. This Is Tom Jones: Christmas presents, back to back, the two hour-long yuletide-themed episodes of that series, broadcast in December 1969 and December 1970, respectively. Numerous musical performers, including Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Collins, The Treorchy Male Choir and Jones himself, appear - with a combination of holiday and non-holiday numbers; Rudolf Nureyev dances to the Nutcracker Suite; and the show's four-person improvisational comedy troupe, The Ace Trucking Company, performs a humorous sketch. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
